I'm a Gemini I act some ways like it but not all of it and I also act like and Aquarius as it is my rising sign. I read somewhere that your rising sign is like how you appear to others like your kinda shell then your astrological is how you act normally. So I do believe it a bit I'm not sure about the horoscopes that you get daily some of them have append though.
whats your star sign? Do you act like your astrological sign/star sign?
I've read some where that this stuff is a bunch of crap that bored people or people with no sense of self are into because their desparate for somebody or something to tell them how to act. I don't see how big balls of burning gas lightyears away could have effect on a mind of a person.

I'm also a gemini. I was just reading the characteristics of geminis after seeing this question. I have to say that I do have a lot of those characteristics, especially the negative ones. I believe that it is purely coincidence though. I don't put much thought into the zodiac and horoscopes.
I am a cusper: Virgo and Libra. Oddly enough, my personality seems to be a pretty even mixture of the two (maybe leaning more toward Libra though). I like it. I think it's kind of cool but I don't really pay much attention to these things.
I act like a Virgo, but it's not like I've ever really bothered to read descriptions of the other signs since they're not my sign lol. If I did, they would probably sound a lot like me too. That's why I don't pay attention to astrology.
to be honest, sometimes I'm surprised by how Scorpio I am, but I've got a lot of Sagittarius in me also. so I've come to the conclusion that we all have a bit of each in us, which is why we (especially girls) let ourselves be wooed by it. we think wow, out sign has got us dead bang, and don't bother to look at how much we resemble ALL THE OTHER SIGNS as well. girls need to stop blaming the stars for all the troubles that they have with men and start looking within themselves. i think it's funny how most women on this site who are like, "what do I do about an Aries man?" or "how do I make a Leo love me?" are also in their mid to late 30s. either they've resorted to astrology out of desperation, or they've been relying on all along and haven't gotten the fact that you CANNOT generalize people by which constellation(s) they were born under. people like mysticism, it's natural to like it and cling to it because reality is too scary. it's frightening to think that there's not a rule book/chart on relationships and love. everyone acts by their own conscience and prerogatives. but I'd be lying if I said I didn't wish it was that way. I wish I could just read about my crush's star sign and know how to go about putting him in the palm of my hand, but it just isn't that way. astrology is fun to read in magazines, but it's not what you should look to when going about your life.
i do in some ways...the general aspects of it and descriptions are usually accurate for me, but like the daily horoscope readings and stuff are usually wrong. I think astrology is fun and its better to pay attention to it as entertainment, rather than it being a basis of determining a relationship or compatibility or something. Its even better when you match the stars AFTER you're dating someone or in a relationship...but definitely not before that phase...itll just drive you nuts

I just thought about this: Everytime we answer a question or give advice there is a strong chance we are creating different people in the future. How is this so you may ask, well think about it,...
