I'm going into a new school next year, there's one person I know already there but I don't hang out with her. I want to come in outgoing and fun but it's hard not to be shy when you don't know people. Any suggestions?
Going to a new school is definitely not easy. But since you're starting off the school year it'll be a little easier. Just walk up to me and introduce yourself. Don't be shy because if you are that way the first day then you'll be like that the rest of the school year. Walk up to people who look like people with the same interests as you. Making jokes is definitely a great thing to do too. Asking people questions like "do you know where this class is, blah blah blah. " leads onto a conversation. It opens you up to asking them questions like "whats your next class? " and so on. Its ok to tell people that you're new to the school because a lot of people definitely open up to new people easy like that because everyone knows its not easy being the new kid.
Well I am a very bubbly person, but if I were you at first I would talk to everyone and anyone. No matter what other people say about that person they were the first person you talked to so just talk to everyone and introduce your self. Find people who like the same stuff you do by asking lots of question.
Well moving is definitely hard. I have been to a few different schools and adjusting isn't an easy thing. Well at least for me. A problem I have is finding a group of friends who I can hang out with. But usually if you don't talk to someone someone will talk to you. Its different at every school and if you have anxiety issues like me you will hope someone talks to you. message me if you want
