I ran into my ex boyfriend when I was shopping for my halloween costume. um anyways, it was so awkward because I haven't seen either of them in like a year. anyways, I know it shouldn't have affected me but I came home and started crying at home. uh and I was all happy with him and friendly chatting. I don't mind talking to his brother but I don't talk to him. would someone have done differently? I was walking and my head was down and almost bumped right into him. I don't like showing that I'm sad to anyone so I just pretended hey like he's a friend just to be civil. thoughts? sigh. thanks.
i had a similar experience. i ran into my ex while I was with my current girlfriend eating Chinese. as awkward as this may sound it lead me to question my relationship with my current girl. so I made a call to my best friend(whom just happens to be another girl) her words were:
~leighann says~ dude don't worry about vanessa. now your with ana. vanessa is past. anas is present. dont look back. keep your head up and forward to the future.
I would have done the exact same thing. Be civil and then go home and be sad about it - I wouldn't want to show him how upset he'd made me. Just be strong, you know that there are plenty of fish in the sea - he won't be the only boy you'll fall for. :) You just need to find a good distraction, don't let yourself backtrack because of this!

Chivalry has two roads that it's facing: Extinction or Endangered, but if chivalry is only an abstract idea and response why is it then so hard to come by? And what makes something chivalrous?...
