When a girl says she wants you to open up emotionally, it means she wants you to be able to express your feelings or what you're thinking...not all the time but she wants you to trust her enough to share not just happy times with her but also the times that you're stressed out or sad or angry or whatever! She wants you to be emotionally availabie because it makes her feel included in your life. It makes her feel like you want her to be a part of your life as much as she wants to be there.
This is so important because as girls, we tend to bond with other people though communication and emotions. Being a guy, you obviously aren't on the same wavelength as females.
