I think your wasting your time. Sorry if that is harsh. But all my friends are prep girls and we are into guys that like a surf theme. Like plaid shorts collared shirts.

Im a metal head too. I have long hair but don't have any band shirts yet savin up for x-mas. It all depends on your definiton is preppy and the girl. I have three sides to me. I have the badass cuss in every setence side of me. I have the quiet intellectual me at school and I have the classic rock/metal and sport side of me. I don't stereotype alot. Since I don't do this the girls who I am freinds with gossip around me because I'm quiet. Its basically being yourself. If a girl has the time to look past your outer image then she in my opinion is very sweet and considerate so it mainly depends on who it is.
it just depends on the girl, I mean ima metalhead too I look mean and uninviting, but I'm also real social, and loves to talk. I don't have a certain type of girl id date, so preppie girls are not a problem to me. look, just show those girls the real u, make them look past the metal image and see what's in yer heart. and just keep searchin til you find what's right for u. I mean I wear metal apparel as well. and I get shot down too and get discouraged for a moment, but I think there are some girls considered preppy that would date a metalhead, but you gotta get to know them like you would anyone else, basically as a person, find out what they like in a guy, what they like in general, wut they want. and well take it from there.

If you show that you are bold, and that you are attractive, despite your chains and Iron Maiden shirts, then, you may get lucky and hook one of the preps.
