I'm wondering if others feel a difference (BIG) in their body, soul, and mind when they don't exercise, compared to when they do work out on a regular basis?

I haven't been able to exercise properly for 5 months and I feel like I'm decaying. I don't feel right! Fact is I feel very little. I don't have any pain at all from my periods. Normally, they would be horrible, in every way.

I have never ever longed for a gym as badly as I do now.

Well, in my case yes! I need to do SOME kinda of work out to make me feel better. And its crazy how much of a self esteem boost you get. I am a runner....and I can't imagine a day without exercise...being said that it doesn't mean I workout 24/7... I am okay with takin' a set back for couple days and then continuing.. but I agree.. I FEEl like I am a fat ass elephant if I don't exercise. lol MAYBE that's just me. I LOOOONNGGG for a gym too :(

i knw.. BUT its a good thing summer is here.

Not necessarily. I often find exercise is what makes me feel bad - sore and in pain.

I don't understand why you don't go out running? Personally I don't like the way it messes with my emotions/hormones (get really pissy if I'm used to running and haven't gotten out) so I stopped years ago.

By the way, I think it's good that you don't exercise on the squeaky floor. That sound is annoying.

I notice the difference. I didn't work out for about a year after I left the military. When I noticed I was gaining weight and generally not able to do the activities I was accustomed to, I went back to the gym. The last few months I have been feeling great about being in shape.

If you are not suffering from an injury, but otherwise unable to get to a gym, there are many exercises that don't require weights or machines that you can do from home.

Question Asker No, not suffering from any injury, just living in the middle of no where. Ya I know about home exercises it's just that I have a super squeaky floor. Going home in a month though so. But I'm moving around all the time anyway.
I'm just surprised by how my emotions and brain is affected. - 8 months ago
Answerer Could you go running any place? You could do the exercises outside as well, maybe get a mat of some kind if the ground is too harsh to exercise one. - 8 months ago
