He has a girlfriend. He and his girl have an open relationship. He tells me that he likes me, and that he wishes we got closer. I get the feeling that he's not happy, he tells me he's happy because things are easy for him but he doesn't know what he wants.

I don't know how to handle this situation.

Well if he doesn't know what he wants ur just gonna get hurt. Its like if a guy says he likes you but won't break up with his girl for you he just wants sex, and if its better than what he is getting hell go with you. But don't get caught up in it, he just might be trying to use you to get back at his girl for doing someone else too. You always want commitment before sex, unless you are gonna keep it as just a f*** buddy, friends with benefits. But if that's not what you want then don't do it. Ur just gonna get hurt. Good?

Question Asker Well, he and I have had sex before. About a year ago, we were "friends with benefits". His girlfriend has also told me of his open relationship with her so I'm pretty sure it's not just to hurt her. But thanks for your advice. - 8 months ago
Answerer Like if the sex with you is good he wants to keep having sex with ya. But if his mental connection is better with his girl hell stick with his girl. I wouldn't try to get attached with him because if they have a open relationship. That's gotta be some trust and strong connections with that person. - 8 months ago

Just take a long minute and think about it all because it seems to me that you are being used as a part time girlfriend instead of being his one and only. Do you really want that?

It sounds like a situation I would stay away from. Open marriages work for some people but it usually gets complicated. If he truly likes you, he would leave his relationship to be with you. If all you want is a physical relationship and everyone is ok with it then go for it, but if you want more than stay away from this guy and find someone who is actually available to treat you the way you deserve to be treated.
