I'm quite adventurous and clumsy well mainly lets just say I love to be active. Femininity comes second when it comes to physical fitness. I used to have such great legs now I have totally lost track of the beating it has taken over the years also I never took it to thought that insect repellent was so important. Now I am so insecure about wearing shorts or dresses due to the scars I have. Completely mortified at how other people (public) especially guys might stare at me in a bad way. Just looking at all these adverts showing off good legs and such its like how am I supposed to compete with that? I reckon if my scars weren't there I would show more skin and feel more confident. My scars aren't that bad it's just thy are so much darker then my lighter skin tone and if I can notice them then the whole world can due to the fact of normal human behavior of making critical analysis of people etc etc.

What do I do? I have heard of bio-oil? But I am not sure? Is there anything else I can do?

Well if they don't want to be with you because you have scars on your legs. Than you deserve better. I mean we live in a world where everybody and everyone judges people it really just depends on the reasons why and if it is because of scars on your legs that's pretty stupid. Well any reason really is but it is human nature.

Well unfortunately people judge us upon how we look. Well if your body is not what it used to be and you can't change it, focus on things you can change which is your mind and the way you carry your self. About the scars I don't know. But I would work on your mentality. If you build that so strong looks become better. I love smart chicks. Go to self help section in a book storer and any title that interest you grab it and read it. They will blow you ind and make you feel better about your self. Good?

Let's take another look at your choices. You say that you're adventurous, would you take back any of the adventures you had because of some silly scar? It is true that our body is so important, yet if we're so afraid to put marks on it that we don't live, then we're not doing it justice.

This does have to do with the type of guy you're looking for, if you find the right one, he might just try to compete with your battle scars. . . Aka, he doesn't care about your scars, but what they came from. He wants to be adventurous too!

Be proud of your scars, they define where you've been. Personally, I think scars magnify a woman. It tells me that she isn't afraid to get into something, she's tough. I'm attracted to the personality of a woman, not her "perfect" body. (Only 10% of population) What is really more important for a man to be attracted to you for?

However, if your scars do still bother you, I believe superstrength79 had some very good suggestions.

I actually found one woman very attractive because of her scar, it made her seem more personable.

Most scars fade with time, unless they run deep. Ask your doctor to recommend you to a dermatologist; they might have a solution. To get rid of my acne scars I've been told there is some "sandblasting" technique to get rid of scarring. I haven't had it done yet, but may at some point.

As far as beauty products go, I have no idea :)
