My exboyfriend and I of 1 year broke up 3 years ago. My current boyfriend and I have been together for the better part of those 3 years. But lately I have been dreaming about my ex. These dreams are completely G-rated, but I'm having them almost every night and it's bothering me that he's still on my mind and that I cannot control it.

Part of this reason may be that my ex- left me by disappearing rather than telling me we were breaking up, but I was positive I was over that lack of closure.

I love my boyfriend with my whole heart. If my ex- and my current boyfriend were in the same room and I had to choose one, I would take my current boyfriend without a second thought. But I feel like I'm not being honest with him about not telling him about these dreams.

Is there any way I can make these dreams go away? Why am I having them? Should I talk to my boyfriend about it or keep it a secret?

I would not talk ot him about it - yet. It probably would cause more problems than help.

Dreams rarly are about what they seem like they are.If the dreams continue it would probably help to talk to a proffesional. They could help you figure out the true meaning of the dreams.
