I don't really think that it matters for the most part. There is a line tho where it is disgusting, when the girl doesn't wear the right clothes for her body. I guess for the most part it comes down to knowing what looks GOOD on you and not UGH. But there are a lot of "bigger" girls that are really pretty. Mostly girls don' think that guys would ever go for a girl that's a size 7 or 8 but that's really not true.
Mercutio is right in saying you don't have to be a size 0 for a guy to find you attractive. That's a horribly betrayed media image that is really doing nothing but hurting people. Unfortunately it's become engraved into too many people's perceptions about what is attractive because people get brainwashed by the media. If your body weight is healthy for your height, and as you said you're well proportioned, you will be able to find a guy who finds you attractive. So many guys like all different kinds of women, it's just you only seem to see one fraction of what guys like being shown. Be confident in yourself and happy with yourself, and you can't go wrong. Beauty comes in all heights, weights, and races. It isn't simply a picture in a magazine.
"Heavier" is fine. Contrary to popular belief, you don't have to be a size 0 for guys to find you attractive. I'm not going to lie to you: physical attractiveness means a lot to guys, especially initially, but I've met truly beautiful women of all sizes.
It depends on male preference. Each guy has a different opinion. Personally if your well proportioned then your weight comes into play less than if you simply didn't take care of yourself.
Yes, it's possible for guys to be interested in girls who are on the heavy side, but still take care to present themselves well (and to smile a lot). Have you seen Hairspray (movie or musical)? If not, you probably should. Keep smiling, and good luck!
