Ok I'm going to TRY and make this short but here is the deal!
I own a 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS it's supercharged and it is flawless I've won a couple trophies for it. Now I also own a 1991 Buick Century to me it's my daily driver, to women it's repulsive to say the least. I love the car personally I got it cheap it gets me where I want to go with no problems and I drive it everywhere.
Not because my Cobalt won't go there but because it's cheaper and less expensive to work on. I've put somewhere in the neighborhood of $8500. 00+ into my Cobalt and I want it to go to shows not to the bars or work because I don't want some drunk idiot to hit my car and I really don't want the miles on it. Now guys I know you can see where I'm coming from if you are into cars at all.
Ladies what is wrong with a guy that has a "Ugly" car!?! Again I do have a flawless car in the garage at my $200,000. 00 house. I'm not trying to brag I'm just saying I have a lot of nice things and a really nice car and a beat up car. But girls will come up to me in the bar and if they have seen me out in the Cobalt they say, "Hey I know you will you give me a ride in your car? " I normally tell them that I didn't bring it and why. Say things go right that night and she comes back to my place, Well on the way out of the bar she sees my daily driver and is turned off by it! I don't see why us guys get judged by our rides.
I've been turned down on dates because of the car, it's killing me! Ladies help please!?
Not speaking for all girls, but I've never cared about cars one way or the other. The only thing I think I'd notice is if it was really messy or something like that. Otherwise it just a machine that moves us from place to place, you know? Some of this might be from being in a large city. I've dated a few guys who don't even have a car.
What are the trophies for anyway? Do you race or does that mean something else?
The trophies are for winning car shows they are mostly different categories, some are cleanest car, best of show, 1st and 2nd place in the tuner category. - 7 months ago
