Just drink more water if you feel your dehydrated, vitamins can make your pee yellow especially vitamin C. If nothing hurts then your good to go. Just drink more water if you always feel hot and dizzy or if your throat is like in the middle of a drought.

Might sounds stupid but try drink water a lot daily, and avoid soda/soft drinks.

Answerer If you really feel something is wrong then I guess is better to see a doctor and have a check, since I doubt anyone on this site is a professional doctor. - 8 months ago

Are you taking vitamins? Vitamins can make your urine look like neon yellow. If you aren't getting cramps, aches, headaches, you are probably not that dehydrated. Drink more water like everyone else said and make sure you are not skipping meals. Food has water too. If your are thirsty drink more. Here's a chart like they had when I played college lacrosse.
http://www. Striders. Net/programs/coach/handouts/hydration. Pdf

If you are very active you can try taking a little creatine. It forces more water into your muscles. You will have to drink a lot more than usual though and you'll gain some water weight. I took it when I was playing lacrosse because I sweat a lot and it helped me to not get dehydrated.

If you are a heavy drinker try taking some vitamin B complex before and/or after you drink. It is the first thing to go when you process booze and is one of the big reasons you feel like crap. Its good for liver function too which will help. If drinking is the case also drink a huge glass of water before bed and try not to wet yourself.

Also, it could be the way you are eating. Some veggies color urine like asparagus. Or sometimes bright yellow urine can mean you are too acidic. It could be the type of food you eat or when you drink your water. (most meat, dairy, soft drinks, and bread is acidic) Try drinking water an hour before you eat, and not much while you eat or for a few hours after. If you drink mostly when you eat, your body flushes it away faster and not much gets to your liver or helps flush out acid and toxins in your kidneys. You are left with acid building up. If this ends up being the case, you can also put a little baking soda (has a pH of 14) in your water to make your body more alkaline until it balances out. Also read up on foods to eat that are alkaline (most fruit & veggies). Your body works much better when it is alkaline. An acidic body is asking for problems. The least of which is dehydration.

Bright yellow isn't that bad.
its better than dark yellow.

Just drink more water, or drink juices or something that has water in it.
8-10 glasses is the recommended dosage of water, but it can vary depending on physical activity, weight, and how much a person actually needs. Its different for each person, no one is the same.

Dehydration is very bad. But when you are dehydrated, make sure you replenish both water, and electrolytes. Electrolytes can be replaced by taking in Gatorade, or just food that has salts in it. Potassium is also a salt.

. Umm. Drink more water. If you still feel dehydrated. You should go see a doctor and they will tell you what's wrong.

Gatorade or orange juice can help you get rehydrate too. Water is great, but it contains no electrolytes, which are substances that help your body retain water. Drinking something with a little bit of electrolytes will help your body get hydrated again faster.

Did you try drinking a lot of water? I assume so because that would be the obvious thing to do. You need at least 8-10 glasses a day if your pee is dark yellow. If it keeps getting darker despite the water, you should see a doctor. I don't want to alarm you but dark colored urine (consistently and despite heavy intake of fluids) is an indication of kidney or liver problems. So, drink water and see a doc.

jgrant24 Add some cranberry juice in there too. It could be a Urinary tract infection. - 8 months ago
BugginMint Yeah, definitely see a doctor if it keeps up or gets worse. - 8 months ago
Bubbles Drink lots of water. I had to be put in the hosp cause I had gotten sick from it. So drink up and you should be fine. But yellow pee could be a uti too, so try some cranberry juice that will help if that is what it is. - 8 months ago
