We've been together for 6 months now and I have never been happier then I am right now with the way things are going. The only thing is her grandmother is not doing so well and she is taking it really hard. I don't know what to do or say to make her feel any better. I do the best I can giving her space. But I just don't know if there is more that I can do to make her feel better.
Don't crowd her to much and give her some space but make sure your there for her to talk to and to have a shoulder to cry on. Also try to take her out so she doesn't mope around to much and get depressed.
Giving her space is one good thing but sometimes she may need you. You should let her know that when she isn't feeling happy you will do anything to help her feel better. This can be as easy as being a shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen to her feelings. It helps if she knows you are behind her to support her when she is down. Remember to remain positive and sometimes mental distractions like walks, food, or movies can help.
