I'm on my last year of high school. I'm kind of invisible at school, because I am very very shy and quiet. I have one friend, she's my best friend but she is moving to Australia in June. Once she moves I will have no friends at all. A lot of people at school don't like me, and there are maybe a fewwww people I can TRY and make friends with most people already have their own groups of friends. So summer's coming, my only friend will be moving and I'm gonna end up all alone if I don't start making friends like now! The other problem is that I am in love with a guy I think is way out of my league! he's popular, has his own car and is on the football team. He has so many friends and goes to parties and stuff, but he's really nice and smart 2. I think he's way out of my league, he doesn't even know I exist. I know I'm hot so that's not the problem We've never said more than 2 words b4, because I'm shy and intimidated by his female friends he hangs out with (the guys kind of but not so much).
Thats how I was with this one guy but you know what I really liked him and wanted to talk to him and I decided to tell him I liked him but it took a lot of nerve!! I'm very shy also but when it comes down to boys/guys it hard to talk to them sometimes but no matter what you got to get some nerve and try talking to him even if its in a note!! With your friend situation...does your friend have other friends she could talk to that she could get to talk to you and you guys could become friends.....just try talking to nice people and see where that gets you!
Does your best friend have any other friends? If so, maybe you could have your friend introduce you to some of her friends. They'll probably want to spend as much time as possible with her before she leaves, and I'm guessing you do to. You could all hang out as a group, and you get get to know some new friends.
As for the boy part, all I can say is good luck. I'm the same way around boys I'm attracted to. It sucks.
