What does it mean to allow another person to fully love you?

I think it means that you submit yourself to the desired of that person, while at the same time letting that submit to you. And by submit, I don't mean letting the other person have control over you, but just trusting that that person wants the best for you and is willing to be sincere and honest in all aspects.

I've been in love only once , but I'll take a stab at this one. I think that when you fully allow someone to love you , your inviting them to love you completely flaws and all. Your giving your whole self and not half of anything else. I never allowed myself to be ''fully loved'' because at the time I didn't think I deserved it . . . I didn't know what it felt like , couldn't even define it . However through watching what other people have and listening I learned that its all about finding someone that your comfortable with that loves you in spite of all your imperfection's . Your letting them in . . you want them in , your allowing your self to be loved regardless of what you may have done and where you been . I don't know if I'm right , but I maybe close .
