I don't know why there's a religious overtone to circumcise. I can picture Moses on the mountain receiving the 10 commandments and saying to God "Hang on. You want us to cut the tops of our dicks off?"
I think there's more of a hygienic reason for being cut today. However, being uncut is fine too as long as you keep it clean.
At some religions or for hygiene the foreskin (on the penis of course) of the guy gets removed. Usually the forehead is the most sensitive part of the penis (this is what causes the nice feeling when masturbating). But when the foreskin is removed the forehead loses it's high sensitivity. You can guess the rest.

Circumcised penises are a bit cleaner and nicer to go down on, in my opinion. You don't have that extra flap of skin trapping bacteria and other things which cause bad tastes/smells.

The majority of spanish men are circumcised and the majority of black men are not.
When a baby boy is circumcised a mental ring is placed over the foreskin, and quickly removed. It doesn't sting the baby momentarily but it is over with quickly.
Some people also decided to circumcised their children depending on whether or their the father has been.if the father is going to be part of the potty training then the pediatric doctor may suggest the the baby not be circumcised as to not to confused the child why daddy looks different.
Some men have no problems with not being circumcised but a large majority do, yeast infections et cetera.and they can transmit infections to the woman they are sleeping with if they do not keep the penis clean.
Personal I prefer circumcised over not.and yes, men who are not circumcised do have a bit more feeling and the only difference is they don't have to jerk off as hard or as long. Hey truth be told.
A couple of corrections Gia. Catholics do not get their children circumcised (not all anyway) it's not a practice in that religion. I'm from a family of staunch catholics and no-one is cut. Jewish people do it at birth not at 13. I think you're referring to a batmitzvah (sp?). - 2 months ago

Thank you for clearing that up for me. Well my family is catholic and they are all circumcised and possibly I am mixing the jewish up with another religion. I also said that it is personal choice some people only do it if the father is or isn't. No comment on the spanish or afican americans huh! - 2 months ago
