Every time I post something relevant to me on this site, someone disagrees with me.
When I said that I have an allergic reaction when I'm around cigarette smoke for too long and that cancer runs in my family, people disagreed with me. Seriously, you can't disagree with me there, my throat does in fact close up when I'm around smoke, and cancer does run in my family.
Do you just click "disagree" when you don't like what someone says?
LOL, Well I know people that disagree about the most ridiculous things just to get a reaction out of people, while others honestly believe what they say but can't choose their battles and agree to disagree.
Really I would be the last person to tell you about your body. If you throat closes up while people smoke around you then by all means you are the only source of info and it must be real unless I studied you personally. So in other words what you say must be true due to no other information being given. The same thing about cancer in your family. Over all just ignore those people. If they don't have better things to do than to argue with you in a relationship website then they need to find a life. Other than that people do this in the real world all the time so it's something you should get used too now.
I think some people just like to disagree with people for the sake of disagreeing or because they just don't like what people have to say because they rather hear what they want to hear. I smoke, but I still try to have respect for those who would not want me to smoke around them, etc.You know what I mean I suppose! lol
I get reactions to cigarette smoke too. I think people are disagreeing with you because they're not clued up enough. Try not to worry about it and/or take it to heart, people disagree with me too. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Well, first of all, that's silly. I have an allergic reaction to cigarette smoke too, it certainly does exist, although some people (who obviously don't have it!) claim that it doesn't. But that's beside the point. I don't rate a person's answer down just because I disagree or don't like what they say, nor do I rate a person down when I know I often disagree with that person.
Unless it's really bad advice that's going to get the person in trouble, in which case I'll rate it down. Or if the person didn't answer the question, or they answered in a rude or inappropriate manner, or they present information which is plainly and simply false. But if it's just a different opinion from my own, then I won't. For example, on the evolution question from a while back, I have seen where people have apparently gone through and rated down every person who answered evolution, presumably because they believed in creation. Now that's just petty, don't you think? ;) Of course, I would say the same if someone rated down all the creation answers. Difference of opinion doesn't always mean right and wrong.
That makes sense, you disagree with bad advice and not just different opinions. I don't see how you can rate an opinion. I don't expect everyone to have the same beliefs as me, so when I say my opinion, it applies to me alone. - 7 months ago
People have "disagreed" with me because I believe in evolution, and for much more pathetic reasons (like saying anonymous users might possibly be too embarrassed). I think they "disagree" with people because maybe someone "disagreed" with them, or because they're just being petty. I wonder how many people will "disagree" with this.
the same here I mean I could say my names ciara and someone would disagree with me when I answer most questions I don't answer in a manner that is disagreeable or agreeable as I speak in my experience etc. but yet I get disagreements lol whatever like if you want to disagree for the sake of it then do I only disagree with people on this when I feel they are truly in the wrong
