I'm a girl, and 6'0'' tall. I'm also very slender, I'm not the most gorgeous girl around, but def. not the ugliest, I've had plenty of guys come and ask me for my number, or come up with them cheesy pick up lines, and flirt and stuff.so I'm not some awkward giant. Ha but anyways, I'm just a bit curious. Do you care if I'm that tall, I mean most girls are in the 5'5-5'8 range, and lately I haven't seen a lot of guys over 5'11 ish. would it be weird for you if you fell for a girl that is taller than you? I've had this happen before, I fell in love but the awkwardness of being like 5 inches taller than my boyfriend just got to be too much. We were constantly made fun of and at first I didn't care what anyone thought, and neither did he. but after a while, all the jokes and stuff that people said to me just made me feel always so embarrassed to be seen with him. I don't want my next partner to feel as weird as I did. And also, I never got to the point of having sex with my last ex.is it different or. idk weird to sleep with a girl that's taller than you? what do you think about tall girls in general?
i love tall girls( then again I'm 6'4 tho)., but I think that unless there's serious love within the relationship, that a misbalanced placement in height within a relationship (taller girl) can take a toll on the guys confidence.
Love 'em! I dated a girl who was 6' 3" once and with me at 6' 1", she was the taller. It was one of the things that I loved about her because she wasn't shy about her height. She always stood out from other girls for something other than just looking good. We would go places and people would always look. Isn't that just the greatest thing; to walk into a room and everyone turning to look. As a guy, I loved it. I'm with her and you're not :)
Well, some guys are intimidated if a girl is taller, stronger, smarter or in any way better than they are at anything, somewhat of a macho man complex, that being said all and all tall women can be extremely appealing, but its mainly about personality and how you both connect in my honest opinion, though I think most guys would tell you they prefer smaller women they can feel like they can really protect and feel very masculine about, however if its a good guy it won't matter much too him if at all or he might even enjoy maybe in a way like "hey I got this much more woman than them" that was a bad joke sorry no ill intent, but seriously it really shouldn't matter.
Well personally I don't have that problem I myself am around 6'7" so If there was a girl out there taller than me she would probably be 1 of a couple thousand out of the entire population of women. I do like taller women though but haven't found any around.
I know that the only thing my boyfriend doesn't like about me physically is my height. I'm 5'6", he's 5'11", and I think he'd want someone in your range or more. He says that taller girls never liked him, though. So maybe these guys are just assuming that a girl like you wouldn't want them. You might have to be a little more forward with someone shorter than you.
i know how you feel! I am tall too, and I tried going out with a guy shorter than me. I kept telling myself height doesn't matter. but it did! It bothered me so much. When we'd be out in public I would over hear people say stuff like, "is she really with him?". etc. It sucked. Dating a taller man makes me feel like a real woman. Like, he can protect me. plus I want to tip toe when we kiss :) I know you didn't need my opinion or anything, but I wanted to comment on this question because it reminded me of my midget ex. You should come over here, there are plenty of tall men. americans that is, not japanese ;)

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
For me the first date is about getting to know the other person. I prefer a quiet venue, a place like a coffee shop or a dignified restaurant.
I dress well on first dates, wearing a nice shirt and jacket, sometimes with matching slacks, other times with jeans.
The date ends with a hug or a kiss (or both); I want to connect emotionally before going further.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
She will know that I'm funny, smart, and interesting. She will know a little about my career, my family, and my life, without too much information (to be boring or overly personal) being given on any subject.
She will also know that I'm a good listener, someone who has an interest in what she has to say (provided that it isn't boring or creepy!)
