Keep her or Ditch her?

I think that you need to pull her aside and talk to her in a LOVING, non-threating way. It sounds like she looks up to you and sort of wants to be like you. If you talk to her nicely, then it will go better, and if she really is your best friend, she will understand your concerns. If she still doesn't understand it, you don't have to ditch her, just start talking to new people. Having more than one best friend isn't a bad thing!

Find the ugliest man you can find and tell her that you like him then see if she does the same or says "keep him, he's yours."

i had a similar situation. I didn't keep her OR ditch her. I just kind of extracted myself away from her as much. What matter more, the rough stuff or the random "we have so much in common" stuff? I chose the rough stuff and my friend was an awful person when the rough stuff came up. She would copy me and make fun of me and stuff like that except we got along great. But I decided I needed someone who didn't make fun of me every 10 seconds.

sounds like you just need to have a talk with her. tell her your feelings. you shouldn't just ditch a friend just because you have problems, you just need to talk it out. keeping things inside is not good for you. trust me I would know. so just tell her how you feel.

I have the same situation. But I learned during a bad situation in my life that she was my best friend for a reason.She was there for me and knew exactly what to say to make it better.Just like with any person you have to take the good with the bad.who knows she may feel the same about you sometimes. But don't ditch her for a stupid reason because you may need her and she won't be there.
