What is the best place to go to meet new people?

I LOVE meeting new people so I usually sign up for summer sport camps, I volunteer in various locations (tutoring, hospitals, school etc.). I also take up random classes - this summer my goal is to take up photography. Get a summer job, and I also make great friend while traveling. I have met amazing people just around my neighbour hood. Just go up and say hi.

I am a fitness freak - so I go to the gym a lot and I have met lots of great people there. Maybe try joining a gym class. Its a two way bonus - it'll keep you fit and you'll make great friends. I also go to sporting events - the oilers game (canadian), trust me you can find crzy guy fans that'll love to sit down and talk to you. And most of the time - great people. Other than that - depending on how things are where you live - we get block parties and so it makes it a great place to meet different people. Its always a good experience.

You can also try online but that could be risky. Church is also a good place to get involved. I think as long as you can participate among communities and such - you can always meet great people.
