If you are worried about something ask yourself if you can do anything about it. If you can, there is no need to worry. If you cannot, there is no need to worry.
That probably makes no sense at first but if you stop and think about it awhile, it makes perfect sense. That's what always works for me.
My sister says when she has problems with worries at night, she promises herself that she will worry about them tomorrow. Somehow that always works for her. Takes the worry right outta her mind so she can sleep. She says 9 times outta 10 she forgets about her "worry" the next day but she always figures that if it is really important she will remember it and if she doesn't remember it, it must not have been that important after all! Lol.
Other than that my only other advice is therapy. Anxiety can be quite a tough problem, especially if it interferes with your life or makes you unhappy.
my fiance does the same thing and it even got bad where she couldn't sleep at night so now she takes a bath/hot shower to relax for about 10min before bed
this is called anxiety, I sadly have it haha, and it is not fun as you know.but when I can't sleep at nights I have a pad of paper and pen by my bed, and I just write every single thing that is bothering me, even if it is what shoes will match my new shirt, silly stuff like that, but believe me it really really helps. my mom told me to do it, and I didn't believe her a first, but then I slept like a baby after I did it. really, try it. hope I helped.
Make a list of the things that worry and bother you, and write down ways to resolve your worries. Writing things down always helps me calm my nerves. Brainstorm ideas for each problem you're worrying about.
