It is very interesting. It's the ultimate bookworm and anime freak geek-rush. I'm proud to call myself both. Considering your last two avatar images, I'd say that you'd like it. It gives you a whole new perspective on all your fav characters, as well as some of the crazy fans out in the world - eg, you like Naruto, right? Well, for a romance fic, how's this for a scary pairing - Hinata/Orochimaru. You do get the better pairings like Naruto/Hinata. Try fanfiction.net and adultfanfiction.net - 2 months ago
Question Asker
There are many sites out there for all sorts of fanfics. For more Naruto, try google search 'TONFA', or better yet, try search for a specific fic called 'Two Halves' - it's the premiere fanfic for Naruto, along with 'Team 8'. BTW, what is your avatar? I don't recognize it, but it looks a little bit like Chi from Chobits, or Arthur from FateStayNight. Nice one, anyway. - 2 months ago
Answerer
I have no idea who that is, on my icon, though I do read a lot of anime comics. I'm a Peach Girl fan. ;) yeah, I'll check that out. thanks - 2 months ago
Question Asker
What manga do you read? I haven't read that much, but I've watched quite a lot. I've only read some Naruto manga, but for watching, I've seen all the episodes so far, and I've watched about ten/eleven other series' of anime. Most noticeable among them was Chobits, Bleach, Darker than Night, Scrapped Princess, and DBZ. BTW, is literotica.com fanfiction, or is it original fiction and judging by the name, full of lemons? - A month ago
Answerer
Literotica is for all the horny boys and girls...
I do like Dragon Ball Z though... but I'm not particular to a certain comic of manga. - A month ago
Question Asker
Apparently Deathnote is quite good. Never read anything apart from Naruto, but I was told if I could, I should read that.
I did take a peek at literotica earlier today. The story I first saw was called 'The Dare', and I thought, "Cool - this is about the game truth or dare! Sounds like fun." It wasn't. I quickly saw that it was a semi rape fic and stopped reading. I hope they're not all like that, as sometimes I do like reading the more, er, interesting, fics. - A month ago
Yes, of course. As far as stories go, I usually read fanfics for shows/books I like, and a couple video games as well (Kingdom Hearts 2 and Tales of Symphonia, for example). And the sites, fanfiction.net and adultfanfiction.net.
What shows or books do you like? Any Harry Potter fanfics there? FFnet is cool, and I've read one author on AFFnet. She's been a little quiet, but her pen name is 'Foxfire' or 'kyubiteaser' depending on what site you go to. The first fanfic I ever read was written by her on a site called TONFA dedicated to Naruto. Kinda smutty in a couple of places, but it was a brilliant story anyway. BTW, what's your avatar? It looks a little bit like Sakura from Naruto, but then again, maybe not. - 2 months ago
Answerer
Shows, I guess that'd be anime mostly, stuff like Naruto, YuGiOh, sometimes Bleach, and if I can find any, Eureka seveN or s-CRY-ed. Books, sometimes I'll read Harry Potter, but not usually. There's a site out there (I forget what it's called) that is purely for HP fanfics ranging from subtle to smutty, it was pretty decent, covered like every possible pairing. I'll read some LOTR, too. And yeah, I dunno, I rather like AFFnet. Though I do like the occasional sweet story, too. - 2 months ago
Answerer
And that's Anemone from Eureka seveN. :) - 2 months ago
Question Asker
Www.siye.co.uk and phoenixsong.net are great sites for Harry/Ginny fanfics, but the most they'll have for smut is saying they made like bunnies or mention the word 'breast' once or twice. FFnet does have the smut fics, but it's not really supposed to be there - only on AFFnet. Fictionalley and simplyundeniable.com have HP fanfics. SUcom I think is exclusively HP, but you have to apply for acceptance to higher rated fics from site staff. I haven't read all of LOTR, so I can't really read fanfics - 2 months ago
Question Asker
From LOTR. I've only read the first two books. It's so sad. Ahh - Naruto. I wrote one Naruto fanfic, and it's done reasonably well too. It's a NaruHina (what else, honestly) fic. I haven't read anything in Bleach, but I love the show. Unfortunately, South Africa is fairly starved of anime, so if anyone wants it, they have to get it off the net. That's where I got all my Naruto, Bleach and FullMetal Alchemist. Personally, I'm almost exclusively HP, and AFFnet has very little of it. Prefer SIYE. - 2 months ago
Answerer
Ahh yes, I forgot about FullMetal Alchemist. Actually, I go for the doujinshi first - I've got a massive collection, there's even HP doujinshi out there. Currently though, I'm rather stuck on KakaSaku from Naruto. And I think I'll be checking out those sites you mentioned. - 2 months ago
Question Asker
Sorry, doujinshi? I don't know that word. Is that like manga? KakaSaku? I did give one KakaSaku fic a try once. It was a it strange (as in not really well written) so I stopped. It was something about Sakura wanting Kakashi to notice her so that she doesn't feel alone when Naruto disappears to train. They get drunk and the following day, he Definitely notices her, and can't stop noticing her. Bit dodgy, but that was the only one I ever read. Have you read 'Team 8' by Viridian/S'TarKan? - 2 months ago
Answerer
Yeah, it's pretty much fanfiction, drawn like manga. And that's a shame! There are some decent KakaSaku stories out there (I don't know why, but I just think the two of them are adorable). And no, I haven't read it, what's it about? - 2 months ago
Question Asker
It's a rewrite of the series. On FFnet it's written by S'TarKan, and has 7423 reviews (so far). It's basically about how Naruto's life would have been different had he had a different team and sensei. So, he's on a team with Shino and Hinata with Kurenai as sensei. There's quite a few differences, and they all actually make sense for the new teams that are formed. It's better than the original imho. I've seen some doujinshi, then. Pretty funny - shy Hinata telling Naruto her feelings- 4 contest - A month ago
I haven't heard of Mibba, but then again, there's loads of sites out there. I mostly read on FFnet and SIYE. Are 'Patrick Stump' and 'Ryan Ross' authors or types of stories? FFnet is so big that I haven't heard of 90 percent of the types of stories there. Teen Titans is quite popular, but I haven't seen it so I can't read it - I wouldn't have a clue. - 2 months ago
Answerer
Patrick Stump and Ryan Ross are guys in bands. I read a lot of fanfic about them. - 2 months ago

yea one on anime the most I love those. the site I go on is deviantart that's the one I go on and I love it a lot
I've been on deviantart, but I mostly go on FFnet. I'm into Naruto and Harry Potter fics, and that's where there's more of them. I have been onto DevArt for some fanart of Naruto, but I didn't know how to navigate the site for what I wanted to find. Have you written anything? - 2 months ago
Answerer
Yea I write some on naruto buts about sakura and itachi and I love them a lot there not done yet I have atlest 5 chapters done but I have not put them on there yet I'm not done and my friend checks them for me and there like 2 pages but after when she's done there is like 6 or 12 its a lot I sit and do that for hours - A month ago
Question Asker
Writing it is actually quite fun. I wrote a Naruto fic, but I wrote very long chapters. The story is about fifty-three thousand words. I found it hard to keep things short. After the first chapter, I had an offer from someone to beta for me, and that really helped me to improve. I'm sure your friend helps a lot too. You should post on FFnet. ItaSaku is fairly popular. I haven't ever read a fic like that, but I did once see a PeinSaku fic. It was bad, but the worst I've seen was OroHina. *shudder* - A month ago
Answerer
Well I do some times but not all the time I love writing its fun. itasaku is the best because since saunaru its hard to write a sassaku one well for me. I never one that had a peinsaku but I read a sosrisaku and it was really nice I loved it that's how I got started write the itasaku ones. I need to write more because I don't think there that good but my friend says there great. I don't know yet I have to fix so much and put more into it because there not that long and I want them to be - A month ago
Question Asker
I'm into the long angsty confessions type of thing. The first chapter of my story was all about Naruto telling Sakura and Hinata about Kyuubi. That took nearly ten thousand words. My third chapter finally ended the day that it had all started on - at twenty-five thousand words. If you're able to keep things moving along, and can keep someone's interest, you're golden.
I don't really read yaoi fics, so I've never read a SasuNaru fic. I just think Hinata fits so much better than Naruto's bro. - A month ago
Answerer
Ik my firest chapter was on when sakura got back from a 2 year misson and she found itachi in a store and she was so upset and stuff like that. I felt bad for her that would suck because she did not know what he was int here for. Ik what you mean I love makeing things long and introsteing but some times it gets hard.
i don't read them I read half of one and I stoped and I like the narusaku one better and saskue is a jealous guy and try to win her heart back. - A month ago
I also use fanfiction.net, and I've used deviantart a few times. I've read a lot of Harry Potter, Jhonen Vasquez, Twilight, and tons for anime shows that I like.
man...every girl I know who is into fanfics/anime got into it because of erotic harry potter literature....go figure. - 2 months ago
Question Asker
FFnet and DevArt seem to be the more popular sites in the answers so far. For Harry Potter fics, I usually go to SIYE because they are exclusively focused on my fav pairing - Harry/Ginny.
Incidentally, Hercules, many sites for HP fanfics don't allow smut fics. On FFnet, they don't, but because of the sheer volume of them, they do creep in, but technically they aren't allowed. For anime, though, there are fics like that EVERYWHERE. I wrote one T rated Naruto fanfic. - 2 months ago
Answerer
Actually I won't read 'erotic' Harry Potter fics. It just seems weird O.o Pretty much the only pairing I like to read for HP is Harry/Luna lol. - 2 months ago
Question Asker
I don't know any sites dedicated to Harry/Luna, but you can try Ficwad.com and that usually has a few more pairings. It's got a nice rating system for when you only want to read the better fics too. Be careful, though, as many of those fics are NC17 or R rated. If ever you decide to give Harry/Ginny a try, try SIYE or Phoenixsong.net (also has loads of fanart). Those sites won't allow lemon fics. I did read a couple of Harry/Luna fics once, but it was only by one author. Any recommendations? - 2 months ago
Answerer
Hmm not that I can think of, I usually just search and read random ones lol >.< - 2 months ago
You've read on deviantart? Have you tried fanfiction.net? It's HUGE - there's usually a story in whatever type you want to read. What did you read? - 2 months ago
Answerer
We read some about the book twilight and then I read one about nancy drew. - 2 months ago
I've been reading fanfiction for years on fanfiction.net, which you probably already know about. What I read really depends on what I'm into at the moment, but I love mysteries and I frequent stories on my favorite shows (Teen Titans), movies(LOTR, Newsies), and books(Hardy Boys). I'll read in other sections on a whim, but that's just when I can't find anything in my favorite categories. I write in many of the same categories and a few others.
Newsies? Haven't heard of that before. Guess that's the beauty of FFnet. What's your profile on FFnet? I go by the same name there as I do here, and I wrote a story for Naruto. It's done fairly well. 133 reviews and just over seventeen thousand hits for six chapters, but compared to others like S'TarKan, that's nothing.
Have you read Naruto or Harry Potter fanfics? In Harry Potter, I go for Harry/Ginny fics, and in Naruto, it's Naruto/Hinata. - 2 months ago
Answerer
Newsies is a live-action Disney musical from 1992. I have a few names on FFnet. The one that I use most frequently is Matchin' Laces (I pretty much write anything on this), which is a Newsies reference. I will sometimes read the Harry Potter fics, but there isn't a certain pairing I particularly follow besides Ron/Hermoine. I share these to write group stories. They are The Girl Dragons (LOTR comedy) and Saturday's Daughter (Newsies). - 2 months ago
