Because no matter how confident I am, like the most confident that I've felt was that I could honestly take on the whole world and win, but for some reason, so matter what, I cannot look a guy in the eye whether I'm walking past him or from across the room. I always look away and don't look back in chance he would catch me staring. I've been told I can't look at a guy because I don't have enough confidence.
Though, when I do have a lot of confidence like I mentioned earlier, If I try and force myself to make eye contact with a guy, I feel physically ill and disgusted with myself. The feeling is so strong that I honestly feel like I'm going to be ill. What can I do to stop this?
well for starters, lighten up on yourself and take a deep breath. it's simple. you have no problem with confidence, you have a problem with self esteem. you have issue with your self worth. try looking at your own reflection. then family, then friends, then strangers at mcdonalds, and go from there. there are 6 billion people on earth. all different shapes, sizes, colors, and you name it. you have every right to live as you want just like the rest of them. No can take anything from you if you already took it from yourself. just think in your mind when you look at them. I took ownership of me, and now i;m taking ownership of the world. in your mind if your not julius caesar, then get busy. add some positivity in there and you'll be fine. you need a little more agression in your life too. j
I used to have this problem. Just thinking about looking my crush in the eye made me sweat. But I passed him eerydya in the hallway at school, so one time I just did it. Just don't think about it. If you think about it you will chicken out. Just do it witout thinking about it. ONce you do it once it gets easier to do it. Then if you are lie me you can move on to taling to guys easier. or you cold start looking every single person you see in the eye and when a guy comes a long you will be used to it.
