So, I had to beg my crush to go out tonight. I told him that I'd pay for him, but I forgot and I didn't. I actually feel bad. Anyway, we had a blast and I thanked him for coming out. I just don't know if I should invite him out again. He's one of those shy guys. Sometimes, I think he could be THE ONE, but there's no way. He's my manager and I can't have him because we're supposed to have professional boundaries. Should I just hang out with him? Is that better than nothing?
No don't settle or keep your mind and heart on something that is not right. 2 options move on or if you really want to be together and he agrees,if possible switch jobs. This all depends on what your doing and if you find something that is the same or a step up.
Yeah, we did last night. But, I'm scared that if I continue doing that I'll end up hurt because he won't like me or something. - 5 months ago

Well the easiest way to make it so he likes you or get the boundary of professional relations to fall apart is to spend more and more time with him. If being friends is legal and okay, then keep doing it, he might eventually not be able to take it and ask you out.
Being friends is your choice. You can give up all hope with every single guy you meet, or you can take some chances and stick with it. You choose. - 5 months ago
