Ok so I'm downloading a whole different style of music into my ipod cause I'm getting sick of my old songs. Can't seem to know what I want exactly. Just to get a good outlook at what everybody here likes to listen, what do you like to hear. Any favorites? It would help lots;) I'm starting with Simon Says(instrumental).

Listen to "the Police", that is an old band that is Rock/Reagea. Very catchy tunes, like "I can't stand losing you" "Driven to Tears" "Roxanne" "Message in a bottle".stuff like that. start with those.

reggae? uhmmmm you can try. Sublime- Santeria, The wrong way, doin time, 40oz. to freedom, smoke two joints, date rape.lots of others too. Bob Marley- three little birds, Stir it up, Buffalo soldier, stuff like that.
other good songs that I like to listen too: Alter Bridge- I like all of their songs but you might not Disturbed- their indestructible cd is really good so if you want some rock on it that works. gary allen- watching airplanes Brad paisley- mud on the tires, ticks, alchohal, online, celebrity. Dio- Rainbow in the dark, holy diver. Billy Idol - rebel yell, white wedding, dancing with my self Dobie gray- Drift away Alice cooper- schools out, no more mr. nice guy, poison.
IDK what you like to listen to. but those are some of my favorite songs and bands.

ska is pretty cool and a lot of people don't listen to it much. I really like Streetlight Manifesto (The Aquabats have some kind of funny ska songs, not necessarily that great music though) dunno if you'll like it, but it's something different!
I had the same thing happen to me about 2 years ago I used to listen to loads of r&b and rap but then I started listening to rock music and now I am hooked and I highly recommend def leppard led zeppelin breaking benjamin iron maiden and metallica if you don't already listen to rock.

I've been doing the same lately. I've mostly been downloading metal, like Godsmack, Metallica, Korn, Marilyn Manson, that sort of thing. For an idea of the songs I've been listening to, I'll give you a list.
