I believe this very much so and I was just curious on other peoples opinions of it. What are your opinions on "Everything happens for a reason" and " What's suppose to happen will happen" ?
God put you here. He knows your path, but gave you choices. Every choice that's made is supposed to be made. it goes along that path. sometimes good sometimes bad, its all about choices. I live by it. hopefully the path that I'm on is to him.
i don't believe in this saying. when I was younger I did but I've been through so much in my life that had no reason come from it that I stopped believing in it if it helps people take things with a pinch of salt then all good but I have been through way too much in my short life and there was no lesson or good outtake from any of it what so ever
I believe in "Everything happens for a reason" 100%. I believe in it because you learn a lesson from everything that happens whether you realize it or not.
In other words, everything that happens is supposed to make you grow as a person.
I see Everything as happening for a reason as the consequent of everyday life and the choices we make. Every decision makes a large difference in our lives, from what time to go to the grocery store to which class to register for next semester. As we make these choices different scenarios and life paths change.
I think what's supposed to happen will happen, the tricky part is being open minded enough to see that what you first truly desired might not be what is best and it takes time, patience and and a love of your self for everything to fall into place on its own.
well I was raised to believe that. but I also believe that everything you do affects everything around you. like the chaos theory, and the butterfly effect. chaos theory for those who don't know, is everything effects everything. and the butterfly effect is that if you go back in time and you do something to change the past, like stepping on a butterfly, you change the future in unimaginable ways. also fate, for whatever may control that, I believe in.
I don't mean to sound negative, but I don't think that everything happens for a reason. You can determine what happens in your life. You can decide. Nothing else makes it happen. But, if you need something to believe in, I guess you can say that everything happens for a reason.

I'm in the sucky part of Florida (the panhandle). I hate it, but MIami is completely different. I hope you like it. So I have another question for you. If everything happens for a reason, why do I like my boss? I can't date him because it goes against store policy. I don't even know if he likes black girls. I don't think I'll learn anything from it. What do you think? - 5 months ago
I also believe this statement very much. The crappy thing about this statement though is that sometimes, actually most times, we don't know what that reason is. And we never do find out!
Yea, I'm going through a rough time with a female right now so I decided I would get some input on other opinions even thought they don't really matter. I mean right now I know why somethings turned out the way they have so far in the past two months so its all good - 5 months ago

I believe everything happens for a reason and what's suppose to happen will happen to a point. God, fate or whatever can only take you so far, its up to the person to grab it. For all you know you could have already met the person you are suppose to be with but didn't do anything about it. Fate put you in that position but its up to you to say hi, its up to you to take it. Point is you got to live in the moment because you can never get it back. If its there take a chance, it might not come again.
That's a great way to look at life. That is why I am not afraid of death. I'm not afraid to try different things. If I was meant to die when I jumped off my roof when I was younger than I would have died. If some new random person invites me to visit europe and provides me with a place to stay. Should I go? I've never been to Europe and always wanted to go. I have a place to stay, but I don't really know the person. Should I go?
Your damn right I would. If I was meant to die in Europe then that's what will happen. But if I don't die.
well then I'm sure that would be one exciting chapter in the book of life.
