Get Allen Carr's Easy Way to Quit Smoking. It's a book. It's a massive reframe on the whole smoking issue. If you're serious about quitting, read the whole book and you will never smoke another cigarette in your life. Seriously, I smoked a pack a day for 3 years and haven't touched a cigarette in 2 months, despite the fact that every one of my friends is a smoker. I am completely indifferent to the cigarette issue, I don't even really think about smoking on a daily basis, I'm just free. Basically every one of his readers is a massive advocate of the message, I don't know why it isn't more widespread.

Hey,how you going?
Not sure which country you're in,but this organization is all over the world,so if you really want to quit, check out the Allen Carr website.
They run a one day course,it was an investment in life for about $400 or so. that was a year ago when I went anyway.
Here is the link,

Just choose your country and away you go

Good Luck!

I've never smoked in my life.
But I have people I care about that do smoke.
And the first thing to quitting is the decision.
You have made that choice, so next is the will power.
That's kind of where you are in your progression.
That is normally the hardiest part to get through.
After that is the last step of not turning back.
So you are so close, don't give up.

Will power is that inner urge that allows you to endure hard times.
It is your fight when you feel you have nothing left in you to fight.
Some have stronger will power than others, but all have it.

You have to take it personal.
Its personal because it has a control over you.
At this point its you against it.

I wouldn't advise doing cold turkey, unless you had the will of a super hero.
I almost forgot, you are a super hero!
I know you kids have to believe that you can do anything.
If not for yourself, be strong for them.

My mother used to smoke.
She told me & my siblings she quit because of us.
We kept on telling her to not smoke.
I'll never know truly what her fighting urge was, but I know she hasn't smoked since like 1991 or 1992.

It's your turn!
It's now your story to tell your kids.
I've seen a tree fall on a child, and the mother pick the tree up, not knowing the weight of the tree. I'm talking hundreds of pounds. & when asked afterward, she replied, "I did?".
Let your kids be your motivation.

I hope this helps & Good Luck!

Sincerely,
A Loving Black Man

Wow, that's a long time. Well my boyfriend smoked for a long time, and he was smoking almost 3 packs a day. He tried that Smoke Away, you can find it at Wal-mart and it actually worked for him. Good Luck, I hope you can accomplish your goal.
