I don't really care as long as its not excessive. It gets annoying when I have to silence my phone because someone keeps calling/ texting every couple minutes. Once in a while, I'd think it would be cute.
As a once in a while thing, it's good. But if you're texting me three times a day to have a huge text conversation, then it's a bit much.
An ex-girlfriend would text me wanting to have a conversation. It was like "Jeez. just call me instead of texting me," but then she would also call during the day. Calling once or twice a day at first, and if that's your "weird thing" then ok. But if you're always asking where I am and getting mad that I don't answer right away or don't want to have a long conversation, then it's clingy.
So with her, between text conversations and three phone calls a day, (as well as a good morning and good night texts), then it was waaaay too much. When I'm working, I'll get into a hardcore mode, and I don't want to be disturbed with "no you hang up first, baby!" "No, you, silly!" kind of conversations or arguments about who loves who more. gag me with a smurfette already.
If you call 2 times a week just to see how I'm doing, and then you text once or twice, then no, it's not weird for me. But, like I said, there can be a point where it becomes clingy and a point where it gets psychotic. A where are you post if the guy is seriously late to something you both had planned, verses a call, then a "where are you?" text, then two more when I didn't answer the first time around. that's where it starts getting weird.
It's partly the intention and the way it's approached as well.
My boyfriend said he likes the little love texts I send him, he actually replies to them sweetly too :) As long as your not sending them constantly I guess. I'll send maybe one or two a week
