I'm wondering if there is such a guy who'd want to adopt as oppose to a birth child, as my time has passed at a young age to bare children, and still have thought of adopting, but most men either have been there done that with their own, or have no desire to have anymore. Or at least they don't let on that they do.
Based on the knowledge I have, of the men that are interested in having children, only a fraction consider adoption as an option.
I personally will not ever adopt, and that's because of personal experiences. I do believe that there are men out there that would be willing do, more so than actually admit to it. The main thing is you need to have developed an open and honest relationship with that man before adoption is discussed.
Think of adoption as the having kids discussion. You need some trust, some mutual experiences, and some tests of the relationship and it's strength before kids are brought into it.
