I know this may sound really silly but I was wondering if I'm the only weirdo who still likes to watch nickelodeon and cartoon network. I enjoy adult shows and cartoons as well like family guy or king of the hill but sometimes when I'm bored I like to watch some kid cartoons. I think its because I miss being a kid, but I really don't know. does anyone over 16 still retort back to their childhood in any way? even if it's something really childish like collecting pogs or something. don't be embarrassed, I just revealed a secret about myself.

I've seen you answering questions and stuff, and honestly I love Avatar: The Last Airbender ? in some ways I think I'm just a really big kid, that's not to say I can't be mature and such, I just enjoy simple pleasures and things that kids do too, and honestly I've watched a lot of "kids'" cartoons and noticed quiet aa few more adult references and such that kids don't pick up on I think they put some things in the shows for more adult people as well, and I know we aren''t the only ones, both of my brothers (older brothers) are into cartoons and stuff too, and one of them is going to school to be a 3d modeler for video games and says that everyone at his school is way into cartoons and stuff, so at the very least you have a whole school of people and more of people like you.
I have always watched Cartoon Network, but they've dropped most of the shows I like so I've been watching more of Spongebob/Fairly Odd Parents on Nickelodeon. :D
They just had a channel installed that shows all the old nickelodeon games shows like Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, GUTS, and others. I even saw the movie "Harriet the Spy" which I have to say is still awesome after watching it after 11 years. I loved those shows as a kid and can't help myself from watching them even now in my 20's.
We all have some kind of inner child in us. We have to. Being an adult can suck some times. It's nice to just sit back and just watch a show that makes you feel like your 8 again. It's an interesting experience.
I do that all the time. Actually, I don't really watch cartoons since they kind of suck these days, but I do watch the Disney channel lol
I love kids' movies too. I realized that I never feel like going to the movies unless it's a kids' movie, or if it's related to my childhood in some way. I mean, this summer, I've seen every superhero movie, Indiana Jones (which I loved when I was younger), and Wall-E. I'm a media production major, so I plan on making movies when I'm older, and I get made fun of by classmates because I'm such a kid when it comes to movies.
i watch sponge bob, fairly odd parents, family guy, a little king of the hill too other than adult shows :) I'm the oldest one to answer this question so far. and I know many others around my age and older who watch cartoons.

Oh boy. theres [a lot] you should see. since you like those two, then I would recommend more movies by Hayao Miyazaki [same director] such as Kiki's Delivery Service and My Neighbor Totoro [he made a lot more lol] and my avatar is from xxxHolic, which is also a pretty good anime. if you liked all the action in Howl's Moving Castle, then try Rurouni Kenshin. - 4 months ago
