OMG, OMG, OMG! I've never been this embarrassed in my whole 29 years of life! It all started with a trash bag! I live in a high floor bldg. I took the elevator to trash the bag downstairs. And you are not going to believe what happened?! The trash bag ripped completely in the elevator with people in it! And one of them was a really cute guy! All sorts of gross stuff came out of the bag! And when I mean gross, I mean like paper toilet, tampons, pads, (all used)I don't want to go any further because it's disgusting! I really feel like moving out of the bldg. I'm serious! I have to move out! It happened just now! OMG! OMG! I want die!

Update: Guys - If you were watching that stinky scenario would you be grossed out by me? I've liked this guy for quite some time! I can't believe this happened to me! Am I being punished?! I'm trying to laugh it off! - But I can't!    2 months ago

All you have done is given some people an embarrassment story to tell about what happened to this girl. Give it a couple of days and your being mortified will go away and you can laugh it off too.

As for being grossed out by witnessing this; no. Actually, if I were interested it would give me an opportunity to swoop in and help out. What was in the trash is no big deal. We know it exists and can handle it maturely.

if you act all kool about it then you should be fine, you taking something that embarresing like a champ is way more attractive to a guy than if you just moved out. if you see him again just apologize to him about it and tell him you remember seeing him there in the elevator thas y ur apologizing "because it was embarresing". make small talk and you know what to do from there.

That is.truly a.unparalleled embarrassing experience. What's fortunate is that it was the trash bags fault, it wasn't YOU who did something embarrassing. If you'd soiled yourself, then it would make you look bad, but with the bag ripping, any person with common sense would recognize it was kind of out of your control.

Same with the tampons. If any person gave you trouble about this they really a jerks. When I say trouble I mean if they treat you differently or are cruel etc. A lot of people might bust up laughing because frankly, this is hilariously sad. Just because someone laughs doesn't mean they are a jerk.

So as for what people think, give it time. They'll either be understanding, or not.

One thing you didn't explain is what happened after. What did people say? Did anyone help you clean up? Did you cry?

Question Asker Thanks! You are right! If you want to know what happened afterwards just read below (wally's comments) And No, I didn't cry. I almost did in front of the sweet lady. - 2 months ago
Answerer I think the guy was about to help pick up the trash (the one you like) but then he noticed the tampons and whatnot, and he probably felt it was inappropriate for him to help you. I think he may have backed away because of that.

Or, yes, it is possible he was grossed out. But, the fact that he looked like he wanted to help is good, right? - 2 months ago

Honestly , its really funny and embarrassed at the same time , this guy you're talking about does he likes you , do you feel anything from him , if he do likes you its not gonna matter for him that you trashed the elevator , did he try to help you to pick up the trash or he just stare at you , if you can explain what his react was at the moment ?

Question Asker I think he likes me. There were 3 of us the elevator. When the bag ripped they looked at it, and the cute guy was going to help me pick up the trash, BUT he hesitated for a moment, and then pretended as if he didn't see "it"! I mean, there was some disgusting stuff on the floor. BTW, the bag ripped completely so I had no way to really hide the stuff. After they left the elevator, A sweet old lady went and got me a broom & trash bad. She tried to console me! I feel horrible! - 2 months ago
Answerer Don't feel horrible , I can't understand that , if I like someone or not I'm not going to stand and just looking with out even try to help , maybe he if you were along in the elevator he will try to help you , god bless that old lady .. - 2 months ago

Don't freak out too bad! If you put pressure on it to make it worse, it will, and fast.

So you got to embrace the joke, I know it sounds stupid but if you laugh it off and are able to laugh at yourself it goes away much faster than if you let people laugh at you for it instead of with you.

When you see this guy again or anyone I would say "at least the elevator didn't get stuck, that would of been the hair across the camels back, lol, I would of had an angry mob pissed at me in that little elevator. I don't think I can take all of them, haha." And spin the situation around so that you both can laugh at the situation, not just sitting there feeling awkward or embarrassed.

Question Asker Thanx! You are right. If you saw that happened to to a girl would you be grossed out? - 2 months ago
Answerer Honestly, this would have to be a situation that I experienced to let you know. I never experienced something like this, and I wouldn't try to embarrass you, I would try to make you laugh in this situation. But you'd have to give me something to work with, you can't just be turned around and hide sort of thing. Then I'm just going to be like "what just happened? And why am I looking at this by myself, lol?" - 2 months ago
Answerer And I don't think it would totally gross me out, it could of been worse, the elevator could of really have gotten stuck, lol, then over time-maybe, lol. But if it was just a spur of the moment thing, it's not a big deal. - 2 months ago

Oh wow, that really sucks. But I don't think it's as bad as it seems right now.

In that situation, I think any person would feel bad and embarrassed for you, they wouldn't laugh at you. It's not like you planned for the bag to rip. Plus, you're a girl, it's not unusual for you to have pads/tampons.

As far as him not helping you goes. . .he probably panicked when he saw the tampons. What was he supposed to do, bend over and pick them up? I don't think you should read too much into it. And don't dwell on it too much if you run into that guy again--it will just make both of you feel awkward.
