I am not a bad looking girl, but sometimes when I get a picture taken (with a phone or whatever) it looks disgusting. My nose lookes huge (but really it is not in real life. My nose is actually pretty small) Why is everything exaggerated on a photo? I have taken other photos and I look good, but what is with the horrible pictures sometimes? Any ideas?
The problem is everything in a picture is condensed to less then twice the size of a deck of cards. So everything you see is scrunched togeather. In real life you have more space so everyone looks better
I blame it on the side-view mirror effect, you know, where it says "Objects in mirror may appear different as they may seem" on your car. Lol, lenses, mirrors and cameras do funny things.

Well same for me I don't look as good in pictures on my phone as with a camera lol but phones use like really cheap camera lenses so they don't take as good of pictures and it is true that we are more critical of ourselves than others. Same with how in mirrors in cars I think I look bad but then I get out of the car and use a regular mirror and I'm like well I don't look that bad lol. So its really just that different things have different quality and phones just have bad quality lol so I stick to regular digital cameras, also I have noticed that if you take a pic with a phone you look better in black and white =] Hope this helps ya.
