So I'm having trouble picking out a Halloween costume and I was hoping people here could help me! It has to be something not too revealing, as we'll be hitting a family thing before the partying starts, but I'd definitely like something a little awesome and sexy, maybe something that involved being able to take a coat or part of the costume off before hitting the adult only party.
I want something that allows me to go a little crazy with my hair and make-up and something a little sexy, but still have something to it. I don't want to walk around in a swimsuit-like costume, in other words. I've thought of all the normal costumes, but I'd love to be something different. We always have a million faeries, pirates, nurses, schoolgirls, etc. I don't mind having to put something together myself and not being able to buy it at a costume shop, either.
So, for some details. The adult party is going to be mainly lots of friends and acquaintances at a friend's house, so it doesn't have to be too fancy or anything. As a matter of fact, it'll probably be ruined by the time we're done with the craziness. I've noticed the hems of my longer ones are always destroyed. Anyone have any ideas?
I say dressing like a librarian, actually. You could tone it down for your parent's house and then with a couple different details (Like putting your hair up differently, unbuttoning a couple buttons, etc.) you could make it look totally sexy.
A pumpkin with leggings that is ALWAY sexy, lol. I don't really know what you could be, I usually don't dress like the normal crowd. If you want to be sexy sophisicated, I would say, a grey TIGHT skirt that is not TOO short, a tight blouse with the buttons low, just to show a little cleavage yet conservative at the same time. Then put your hair either in something really tight (light a library person, or let it go wild) Of course, don't forget the sexy glasses! I don't know if you will like my idea, but I always think that the sophisticated woman is always more sexy then a girl dressed like a prositute.
