I Am Too Nice!

Well,you have to realize that most of the time they are just using you. Knowing to yourself that they are only using you,your degrading yourself and your friendship with that person.Do they even return the favors?

Think of yourself in a situation like this.It depends on what their asking you to do but if its a common thing,stand up for yourself and don't let them use you when they please.If you can find the courage to say "no" one time,you will get the hang of it,first step is always the hardest.

I know exactly what you mean. I used to be just like you. First of all it's not all going to change at the same time. One morning your going to have to wake up and say that I definitely wanna change. It's just going to start out as saying no to a couple of things. You can trick yourself to say no that way you don't feel bad. For example somebody asks you if you can baby sit their little sister or something think of an excuse and enlarge it. You could be tired but instead trick yourself into thinking that you really extremely need your sleep tonight. I know it sounds stupid but it works. It helps you to not feel so bad about saying no. And as for the swearing thing. You don't have to swear. I mean swearing doesn't make you any cooler or anything. Just deal with things your own way whether it is swearing or not.

Also don't let other peoples problems or situations be your problem. If somebody is in a fix it's not your job to fix it. You can make them feel better or help out. But never do somebody else's job if you don't feel up to it. In your situation I have to say that you have to feel selfish every once in awhile. You can't care about everyones problems or help everyone. Sometimes you gotta think about yourself.

I know this answer might have been a little self centered sounding. But for me it was the only thing that I could do. For a person that cares about others too much. You need to think about yourself for awhile.
