New header and contest Ideas on GirlsAskGuys

I like the new header, but I don't like the color. It's too bright for my tastes. Kinda reminds me of a dry erase board.
I don't like the ads in the question box as well, but I do have to ask, are people looking at the ads more now that you have moved them?
I think good contests would something that is actually based on true events (well, what people want us to believe are true events) ; instead of Most Original Valentine Gift have Most Romantic Valentine Story that happened to you, etc.

I've always like "Most Embarrassing Stories" - but I'm not sure if you could enter the contest anonymously, lol. Of course for a prize, some people might enter it anyway. "Worst Date Ever" always brings laughs. "Fashion Faux Paux" for pictures is a good one, as long as the faces are blurred out. That's something I think I might win living where I'm living. Poetry contest as well as short story. "Best lesson learned from life" is a great one - I love reading about the lessons people take from their experiences in life. Photography contests with themes, like "Rhapsody in blue" (everything has to be blue) etc.

I like to read personal accounts from people's real experiences in life. It engages my interest, I would be more apt to participate in those type of entries than just generic "Most original blah blah blah"

Prizes - I would love a jammie set from Girls ask Guys. Or a wife beater shirt with the logo. Underwear would be cute too (envision my husband asking "What are you wearing?"). Hats, mugs, even a pen and pencil set. Great conversation starters. I would love some free music as well. But I guess you could get that from Amazon.
You can have a feature of people who have contributed - like a short interview of the "winner" and such. They can even have a picture up of themselves if they want. Everyone would love their 15 minutes of fame, even if it were just on Girls asks Guys.
Hey, am I going to get paid if any of these ideas are used? Lol.

How about some contests with an age limit. REally, how can any 16 year old answer a question about separation and death, for example...

I'm not going to lie, I liked the old header a lot better, especially because it was easier to distinguish which section of the site we're in. Now, the words are subtly highlighted, whereas before, they were circled, which made navigation much easier. Also, the white is too stark of a contrast from the blue. The contest idea sounds great though!

i see a pure white header with the words in blue. I don't really like it at all compared to the old one... unless I'm not seeing the header... but I've refreshed just about 20 times

The contest for guys closed earlier than the one for the girls and I couldn't even view what the answers from the guys were. What's up with that? Girls need more time to think?

Ok idea though and I will be voting.

The new header is ok but I did have to ask (and was answered) about finding the recent questions feature. Works for me.
