My girlfriend has been on the pill for a few years but she missed a month. then before her next period hit she used the pill because she thought it was the right day but she used it too soon. then she missed her period. but about 4 weeks ago we had sex. so I don't know if she missed her period because of her using the pill wrong or if she is pregnant. I don't know if the pill would make her miss her period though. will somebody please give me an answer?
I take the pill also and it is possible that the pill could could be at fault for her missing her period but at the same time she could be pregnant. I recommend that you have her take a test just in case she might be.
Well actually you can completely skip your period if you just skip the colored pills. I have done it occasionally. I don't think its healthy but ya know oh well. If she is missing the colored pills then she could just be missing the period and not actually be pregnant.
Totally true what all the girls said down below, just ask her to take a test and just to get it done and over with, so you won't have to worry about. Missing the pill one day can mess things up a bit.
Sometimes the pill if taken too soon or to late can mess up your period. have her take a test just in case. if she really was preg shed feel some of the other symptoms.
I thought I was pregnant because after sex I hadn't had my period for 3 months but luckily I wasn't pregnant!! Get her to take a test to be sure because she could be!! But also periods do go away and come back.
She should probably go ahead and test. If she is pregnant she should stop taking the pill.
I ran out of pills and couldn't get to the doctor until 3 weeks later. I thought I'd be fine. Then the doctor asked me if I could be pregnant and jokingly I said "Well, anything is possible" so they did a blood and urine test just to be sure and I was definitely pregnant. Now I have an almost 2.5 year old daughter.
Just missing the pill by one day increases your chances of becoming pregnant.
