So I have oily skin, no thanks to my mom. But at least it isn't dry right. my skin feels really nice, but I guess I just wanna take care of it better, especially for my face because I get some acne from time to time, mainly on the forehead.
So is there any products for men that are good or that works well that you can recommend? Thanks
Don't use any lotion soap. The purpose of soap is to remove certain things that don't easily rinse out with water, but also oils (such as found in lotion). It's pretty counter-intuitive to add a lot of "dirty" to the cleaner before you clean something, but it's very attractive from a marketing perspective. Wash your face twice a day with soap and avoid unnecessarily touching it with your hands.
If your acne is hormonal-based, there's not much you can do. The previous paragraph will reduce the symptoms and other infections.

Soaps that work poorly will leave you feeling moisturized after. Soaps that are heavier duty cleaners (that you might use in washing dishes) are the vice versa. Some sort of bar soap that you'd use for showering is a happy medium and one which I'd suggest.
The cleaning agents of soaps are all quite similar (and cheap to derive). Marketing just comes in with fragrant smells and other gimmicks in an attempt to uplift the value of their particular brand. - 7 months ago
