Have you ever used astrology to see if you're compatible with your boyfriend?

I read it for entertainment value. You could just as well place your relationship in the hands of a fortune cookie. I'm with a great woman now and, by our astrological signs, we are totally incompatible. NOT!

Entertainment value only.. even though they can be eerily accurate at times. I know cause they seemed to mark milestones in the relationships that I do tend to have. Somehow I can't help but think that we look for meanings in the mystical thingies that are not really answers at all, just our interpretation of a purposely vague response.

My EX girlfriend did that and well she's now my EX guess it's not true, we were supposed to be compatible but we really weren't.

All of that stuff is generally for entertainment. Like how they say Virgo and Capricorn are the most perfect match out of all of the signs of the zodiac; however, there may be a Capricorn that a Virgo wants to choke halfway to death, back, then ALL the way to death! I wouldn't let that stuff influence your every decision, but if it entertains you, then go for it. Personally, I don't believe in astrology but I like to assess how close it is to the actual behavior that it describes that a person that should have. It's general entertainment, all for fun.

I've never been one to believe in stuff like that personally.

To hell with those rules, they have a very small part to play in the bigger picture. Never base your relationship on some outside source or quiz. Although they may inform you on specific personality traits and manners in one another, and only in a very limited way, it causes restriction to true love. When you follow the book instead of the heart you create unreality based upon concepts. If beauty and the beast came together then nothing can not. To love someone is a choice just as much as it is a feeling.

Noo! I'm extremely superstitious about that. Especially since my girlfrirend and I are supposed to be completely incompatible by our signs!

Dump him. Unless every third letter of your name matches to his fourth letters, I would not prolong the relationship. :)

I've read these in the past and I take all of them with a grain of salt. A better measurement of the relationship is how you treat each other and whether you get along well. Everything else, such as Astrology, Colorstrology or anything else is just entertainment.

I've done it before but I only take it seriously if it's in my favor ^_^ the way I see it. Even if the two people don't match up because of the signs, somehow fate brought them together in the first place so you've at least got that backing you up. <3 don't take the signs too seriously. Fight for the relationship if you really want it. If its not worth you fighting for, despite the signs, then it probably wasn't meant to be anyway.

I actually own a couple astrology books myself and while they are interesting and eerily accurate at times, I really don't take them seriously by any means. And coming from a Christian background, they're not seen as really good things to rely on. However, I think they can sometimes provide some fresh insight to your relationship. Also, there's a book called Sextrology that's pretty entertaining if you want to take things a step further.

I follow horoscopes and believe in them but if I have a boyfriend that it says I'm not compatible with, I tend to ignore it. So far it's been right though because I just had my heartbroken AGAIN. Maybe I should start paying more attention
