You should tell them. Had it done to me. My Ex husband was cheating and all of my friends knew it. Not one of them told me until after I found out. They said they tried to tell me but, I turned the other cheek. So, I think when it comes to that, you should tell them. That is what friends are for. But, say it out right and don't beat around the bush.

They usually give me that "what an idiot" look. And then I laugh and let them know that I am aware that the line is bad, but it's worse to not meet someone that you are interested in. Typically I get a positive response to that; everyone wants to do well in the dating game and the ladies know that even the best players miss a pitch or two.
