Do little things, random e-mails or texts just to know that you were thinking about her while she's not there, or if she is there randomly ask her to dance even if there is no music. If there is an event coming up, find out information like her favorite childhood memory and make it come true, go have a midnight picnic in the park or go for a walk near a lake.
Hmmmmm cheesy.....huh? At Spencer's I saw a human sized gift box where you can make yourself the present. That would be cute and if you dressed up like something funny (i.e a ninja or a banana) that would make it cheesy lol. If you have flowers in hand, that would make it romantic AND cheesy, but most of all unforgettable lol. They also had a stripper pole that's a tension rod you can put anywhere in your house...the gift that keeps on giving lol
Cheesy? Well before your date, get a piece of paper and a pen and draw the United States (just the lower 48). Now draw a bunch of mini cars in the United States drawing. Color the whole drawing pink and cut it out. Now pin it on her.
Wake up early and go and get her flowers before she wakes up, leave them for her as a surprise.
Leave her a chocolate *hershey kiss* by her desk or something with a little posted with a simple *miss ya* ...she'll know...
Get a magazine that has astrology in it, like "Discovery" or something, cut out pictures of the stars and galaxies and make a small poster board collage, like 8''x11,'' and put a picture of you and her in the middle of the poster board and paste the pictures of the stars around you two, and glue a piece or tie in a piece of string to the back of it - so it can hang on the wall.
Make her breakfast in bed.
And the little knick-knacks and and good luck charms that have a different culture about them, find something along her interests, surprise her with it.
And I did this once, before when my girlfriend was having a rough week, I planned a day as to when she got home, I had her favorite song playing and I didn't say anything, just starting hugging her, and we just swayed back and forth to the song for a little while, and it was a nice surprise and she liked and it. Know your girlfriend for this one, she may just want to come home and sit down for a minute and relax, lol.
As far as romantic dates, if you've been with her a while, you can take her back to the first place you met, where you asked her out, first kiss, etc. Take her to a museum, a park and have a picnic. As far as for gifts, send her on a scavenger hunt where she has clues and has to follow them to where you hid the gift. Take her on a roof and watch the sunset. Stay away from jewelry. instead get her stuff that comes from the heart. - A month ago

For Valetine's Day, had some friends that were girls. So I went to the dollar store and spent like 16 dollars on each of them, and made them like a gift bag full of dollar store items. Take up painting, drawing, or writing and paint, draw, or write her something. Of course, romantic song CD's with your fave love songs are very cheesy, lol. - A month ago

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
I would suggest a small hike on a peaceful trail followed by a nice home-cooked meal, made by me of course, either on-site or back at one of our places. After dinner is over and the conversation has died the date would end with a kiss on the hand and a walk to the car.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
My date would know what I am about, who I am, a little about what I do and hopefully whether or not I am a candidate for a second round.
