Ok, so I met this guy a little more than a year ago through a friend. We didn't think very much of each other, and one night he IMed me and we started chatting. We found out that we had so much in common and a lot of same interests, and kind of established a bond between us. About 2 weeks later he asked me out and I turned him down due to the fact I only knew him off of the internet (only meeting him once or twice in person) and that we went to different schools. I thought I liked him then I kind of started to get a little weirded out by him the whole time he liked me. So after he stopped liking me, I felt comfortable talking to him again. We talked a lot over the summer and became good friends. When school started again I started going to the same school as him and I got to know him more in person. He started liking me again and asked me out a second time, so I got weirded out again and said no. After that he started liking someone else and I found that I started liking him. I was extremely jealous for about 2 months of their relationship until they broke up. A few weeks later he liked me again and that time I said yes, so we dated for about a month. Except about half the time while we were dating I was having doubts about my feelings on him again, and things just didn't feel right. I also think I might've felt a little embarrassed to be dating him too. So I ended things, thinking it was better for him so he could be with some one who didn't doubt a relationship so much. Yet, now every time I think he likes some one I start to get really jealous, but I don't know why. I feel like maybe I like him again, but then I feel like I only like him as a friend. He teases me a lot and still occasionally brings up when we were dating, and when said he would really hate to lose me as a friend, and I feel the same way. Yet I feel like he likes another person because he acts nicer to other girls. I'm confused, do I like him and does he still like me? Or am I just a jealous wreck who doesn't know what she wants or why?
As girls it is normal for us to love attention, even if we don't know it. This guy is giving you attention and I'm sure anyone would like that, then when he starts giving another girl the attention its no fun. He sounds like a great friend and you sound like a great friend for him. Just keep in mind that he will have girls coming and going but you will always be there as a friend. Then the only thing you can do is just try to move on. Look at him as more of a brother than another boy
Hey no way are you a jealous wreck it happens. Things start to get serious and we start to question whether we really like the guy it happens to me. And most people I no maybe you aren't used to someone liking you? Maybe you like the attention? as weird as this sounds. How do you feel when you imagine him and you together? Does it seem strange? If so. Maybe the jealousy is a subconscious part of your brain not able to let go of your history it sounds as though he can't quite let his feelings for you go. But put this fact aside and decide how you feel, no matter how he does and then decide what you are going to do also consider this. Do you only want him because you can't have him? Dw. What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I usually start off with a joke. I use comedy as an ice breaker. If I'm nervous that's all I'll do. If not I just strike up a conversation. I'm good at both.
