I am really stuck on ideas and ways to get this guy at my karate class to like and notice me. Please help me my next lesson is on Thursday so please write commons before that day if possible please. thanks -Jess
Ask him to spar with you. Ask him to help you with your kick.
If you catch him after class make a comment on how cool he looked. Actually, ya do that find him after class (get dressed faster to find him before he leaves) and just tell him "you looked really cool today". It makes him feel awesome about himself and makes him pay more attention to you. Especially if this guy is seriously into karate. It will make his day. It doesn't matter if you never talked to him. If a girl tells me that I look really cool doing something I like (playing guitar) I would immediately ask her to get some coffee with me or something of the like even if I never talked to her.
Do it. Just go and do it.
I'm not kidding.
Walk up and tell him he looked really cool. Don't worry about anything.
Biggest piece of advice I can give you: What do you have to lose?
Maybe you should ask this guy to show you some moves before or after class some time. You need to connect with him before you move the relationship to something else. It seems like the two of you have never talked, so I would start there.
Do the classic "I don't get this, could you help me? " It gets a conversation going and can even create a few laughs. But just talking to him in general would be good. Get to know him and let him get to know you.
So I like this guy who I've known for a few weeks now. We hang around with his mates and then my cousin (girl - the typical blonde hair big boobs...

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I don't start a conversation totally for the sake of having one. That comes into play, but there's got to be something interesting to say, something valid to comment on, otherwise it's just ridiculous. The point being, if you ask about something you're really interested in, even if you don't make an associate, you may still find out something interesting, so it is time well spent.
How do they typically respond?
They respond pretty well, because I don't use pickup lines, I just ask about what's around me, around them, what sets them apart and what seems prominent about them, or about the environment we are in together.
