Just want to correct a tying error that changes the meaning of my answer. I would rather edit the original, or delete and re-submit it, than to send comments which will appear separately.
Currently there isn't a way to delete/modify the existing question, answer or comment but only to add an update. The site was originally designed to accommodate that however, we have come to see that when members updated their questions, they removed the entire question, which deemed all the answers irrelevant, where new readers wouldn't understand what the question was at all.
In addition, if the question was deleted by the asker, all the answers would have had to be removed. And likewise for the comments when an answer was deleted.
Remember that aside from asking and answering questions, members also read other questions and answers which help find relevant answers to their questions in the pursuit of finding happiness and become a better person in general, long after a question has been asked or answered.
So unless a question or an answer is deemed inappropriate by our moderators in light of our terms of use and guidelines, or that the question or the answer puts the asker or anyone else in dire straits, it is not removed, once submitted.
If you'd like a question to be removed or modified, please send us an email or fill in the contact form with the question ID and the reason.
At this time an edit functionality is not available once you've reviewed in the preview screen and submitted. At the bottom of the page there is a "contact us" link that can be used to, of course, contact us. Indicate what answer you are concerned about (can include the question id, Questions/q13092p1.html) if you want (this question is 13092) or the title. One of the moderators can assist you.
We aim to preserve the integrity of the original answer. From time to time I will amend an answer when the intent is clear, but do so cautiously to make sure the writer's meaning isn't changed.
I don't know? I've encountered that problem before, as well. There should be a way for the moderator of the site to do it. How about giving us this option when we answer a question?
So I dated this guy for 7 1/2 months we were perfect for each other. I shared things with him I had never shared with anyone else he felt the same way...

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
Are you O.K.? Because heaven is a long fall from here.
Bond. James Bond.
What's your sign?
How do they typically respond?
They usually give me that "what an idiot" look. And then I laugh and let them know that I am aware that the line is bad, but it's worse to not meet someone that you are interested in. Typically I get a positive response to that; everyone wants to do well in the dating game and the ladies know that even the best players miss a pitch or two.
