I'm in college and my roommate is trying to "bulk up" and drinking all this protein crap, and I think it's making him have fits of rage. He isn't expressing any control over his actions and he is always throwing stuff around in his room and making the people downstairs mad from all the throwing. He wakes me up every time he comes in when he's sleeping since he slams his door every time he comes of goes. Is there anything I can do?

You can try to talk to him, but ultimately his behavior is up to him to change
If you can't take it and are able to. Move.

Wow. Get a big game gun. Lol Ionlife is right, protein shakes wouldn't make you angry, maybe gassy. Lol Do you know why he's been working out so hard? If its after a breakup, he could just have some anger about that. Not sure how to ask him to chill without it feeling like an oprah ambush. Maybe just casually ask him, hey you alright man? You seem pretty intense lately. If he says no. Then just point out some of the stuff he's been doing.

But don't forget the elephant gun ; )

Protein shakes don't make you angry. Steroids can however have that effect on you and if he is using them then you ought to educate him on the potential side effects like "bitch tits" or the shrinkage factor below the belt.

That just might be "Roid Rage! " It happens when a person takes steroids, or other testosterone boosters. The increase in testosterone causes them to get angry!

HULK MAD! HULK SMASH!

It's not the protein, but it could be any of a bunch of different weightlifting stuff. I had a buddy who took Andro when he was in college. He said he would always have dreams of ripping people's heads off. I had a cousin, he was taking stuff, and I won't get into the situation, but yeah. You need to talk to him and ask him if he's noticed any changes in his anger. Ask him if it seems like it doesn't take as much to make him angry and if he seems to get more angry then before. Don't point the finger and don't put him on the defensive. Instead, ask him if he's noticed it.

Yes, definitely

No, it's just too difficult

Only if they trust each other fully

Yes, but they need to see each other every weekend

No, because people can lie and cheat no matter the circumstances

What pickup lines do you use to start a conversation with someone you are attracted to?
I walk up to a girl and say 'Giant polar bear', she responses 'Huh', or 'What', then I go 'It broke the ice'. This one never failed me. I always get a smile back. Even when I come across with someone who answers with 'It broke the ice', I throw another one until I come up with something she doesn't know. This line always follows with a counter question about the success rate.

How do they typically respond?
As I said, somehow this line always works. It is witty. As the conversation goes a bit further, just as I am introducing myself, I say (very cheesy) "Name is Bruce, but you can call me tonight". This gets a puzzled response at first and a smirk -if they don't know it already-, but if they do, I squint my eyes with a big smile :)

Do I have the right approach?
