I have recently started talking to a guy for about 3 weeks now. We have been on one date and it went well. We have kept in contact since the date. He mentioned his birthday is a few days away from today and wanted me to go out with him on his birthday. I teased him telling him I could not take him "OUT" because I have no money right now (which he knew was true) He said it's okay that just having me there was good enough.

We do not know each other very well but I was wondering if I should pick him up a card or a little something. He doesn't have many friends in my town because he is not from here. I don't want to come across as too pushy just thoughtful.

Should I get him a card or small gift(which I think is too over the top considering we just have been on one date) or just "go with him" and have a good time.

THANKS

Yes! Get him a little cute birthday card...that is not pushy at all

Get him a gift.....

Don't get him anything .. just go out w/ him on his birthday. Anything else will be overkill

Just text him and tell him happy birthday and go out w/ him that night.

Hmm, I'd say don't get the gift, it's too early for that. But, definitely I think you could get him the card. He's the one who decided to tell you it's his birthday, which means he knows that you might possibly get him a card.

You should MAKE him a birthday card. Laugh about it with him. I once had a girl do that for me and it was insanely cute.

I wouldn't. In my experience guys aren't all that into cards. I think us girls are the ones who love that sort of thing and keep them for years lol

Instead buy him an ice cream cone (or a sundae) and joke about how it's his bday treat.

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
My ideal first date varies from a dinner or coffee if I don't really know the guy or something more fun like bowling or an amusement park if I do. I would prefer to be picked up. I would wear something that would fit the occasion obviously, but generally it would be skinny jeans or a mini skirt paired with a nice girly top. The date would end with plans for date two and perhaps a kiss!

Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
Afterwards, my date would know how much fun I am! Hah, and basically anything he asked me really, as long as it isn't too personal. I wouldn't really want to get too deep on date one plus we need things to talk about down the road. He would know my general interests and values (music, grades, hobbies, etc.) along with my crazy sense of humor. I'd end up knowing about him though too =]

Would you date me?
