So 2 days ago the guy I like did some stuff that dropped really big hints that he possibly liked me. The problem is, I didn't really take the bait. Now these past 2 days he hasn't even looked at me, which he usually does. Did I lose my chance by not taking the bait and showing him I liked him back?
If you think that he put himself out there to let you know that he likes you and you did nothing. The move is now yours. If you like this guy you need to let him know. He stuck himself out there and by doing this he placed the ball in your court. You can either return the ball or watch it go by you. I don't think that it is too late being only a couple of days, but I wouldn't take more than a couple of weeks to let him know your feelings.
Did you lose your chance for good? No. But the fact that you didn't show any attention made the guy think you weren't interested, so he's not going to waste anymore time trying to see if you like him. But it's not over for good. You can talk to him and show him that you do like him.
