Do they hate to let others know their business or do they really think that when there is a problem and you both can't solve it, so there really is no problem that needs intervention?
It is true that men have a general problem with asking for help. Especially when you can just ignore the problem. . . That tends to be the more popular trend.
Imagine this prideful guy, walking in with his girl. . . By which he refuses to show affection towards her in public. Maybe you even have problems getting him to show affection to you in private. Why would he then blubber out all his guts to some person he doesn't even know. . . Much more. . . He's actually paying for.
Men don't really see the problem at hand in the relationship, they see the pressure of the woman being unhappy, and the counselor as the trigger for those problems. "If I don't go, there's not really a problem. " make sense? Of course not. . . We're men.
If you can't get your guy to communicate, maybe you should try other methods. Being completely open to him, as well as never discouraging him to be open. Don't criticize him for not talking. . . Yet encourage openness. Have a conversation time everyday, and weed in the conversations you want. Otherwise, just make it "talk time" so you two would stay connected.
That's like admitting there is a problem. And real men don't have problems. At least not problems they want to talk total strangers about. That's getting way to personal.

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
For my first date, I would want to go to a school football game or to the bowling alley to shoot some pins. I would wear a pair of light blue jeans, and a halter top, with a shal. With a pair of runners. It would end, with us eating ice cream and laughing that I have some on my nose.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
He would know that I am a loving, caring person that loves to be held, and be respected. I have a competitive side, and love to debate on subjects.
