This guy and I are in a play for my drama class, and we've been friends for a while. A couple of days ago I was helping him run lines during a free period. During the play he proposes to me and I turn him down. He suddenly became very involved in the scene getting on one knee and everything. Later that day during one of my classes we were watching a movie. I had my head tilted back looking at the ceiling and he came in and started playfully tapping my neck. During drama I sit near him and we make dirty little jokes and talk. The problem is when I see him outside of school he doesn't talk to me. I guess I just don't understand, school is a public place and our community is small so people see us. He just doesn't acknowledge outside.
Could it be School is his comfort zone. He obviously doesn't care who sees in school around his peers. However out in public is a strange area for him. If you see him out side of school break the ice and go talk to him casually. He may need to know you are ok with it all too. BUT. Does he have a girlfriend from another school?
