Okay regardless of how long you've known a girl if you're dating them and they mean a lot to you and you'd like to give them something like a really nice piece of jewelry, should you? I just get the impression some girls might not care for this.
But from the bottom of my heart I'd like to do that for my girlfriend at some time but I'm afraid she wouldn't like that. And at the same time if I were a girl I'd just be like HELL YEAH! Lol anyways let me know what you girls think!
Well, I for one will not accept expensive gifts from someone. I would feel like he was trying to buy my love, and that's just not needed. And if he feels like he has to buy my love, well what's he really think about me? Does he think I'm that shallow that I need gifts?
If a guy REALLY wanted to buy me something, I'd recommend going with something cheap, but still nice. Maybe a mix cd. Something that takes a little thought, because jewelry is too easy.
For me personally. If a guy gave me a jewelry, I would be taken back. That would just triggers a lot of thoughts like "Will he want to marry me? " "What is next? " When I was dating, on Valentine Day, I had expected something simple like flowers and I got them. Once, an ex gave me a necklace on my birthday, All I could do was stare at it. Wondering if I wanted to be with him. Then I realized, I didn't. I ended the relationship the next month.
Okay, well girls love jewelry. It's just a fact. If you feel like she won't appreciate it or you might regret it, then do not do it. How long have you been together?
I mean, you know better as to whether or not she would like it. For me, I love getting jewelry. But I know that I wouldn't be getting jewelry unless, one - my fiance could afford it and two - he really wanted to. I would never EXPECT jewelry, but it is always a nice surprise.
Love is price less the best way to show you love is a gift you made with love by yourself don't buy stuff like necklace if you want to impress her give her a promise ring I told you man love is price less
Don't give anything you'd regret giving if things don't work out in the end. Flowers, taking a trip, something along those lines are just as good as something shiny. Gold tarnishes, diamonds lose their sparkle, but good lasting memories are what you'll look back on with fondness.
I agree with him completely. Keep it simple. I would rather to receive jewelry after I have been married. Like I say before, when a guy give me jewelry, it just set off red flags for me. - 2 months ago
