So last summer, I decided after 3 years of living here I should hang out with one of the boys next door to me. He was really cool and we both started to like each other. We held hands, but I didn't feel ready to kiss. Sure he asked me a few times, but I was too scared. My best friend who lived a cupple of houses down from me didn't like him. See, my friend can get any boy she wants, seriously, ANY BOY! So I wasn't worried about the whole friendship thing. Than she decided just to play a "joke" and start flirting with him, like crazy. Than a few weeks later, she came up to me and said "I'm starting to like him. " well no duh! My friend doesn't have a cell phone, and she always asked to borrow mine, so I let her. She usually deletes them, but one time she forgot, and I tried not to pry when going into delete them, but they were from the boy next door who she knew I liked. They were talking about kissing, and apparently they were going out behind my back. This killed me. I would try to ignore it for a little bit, but once we were done hanging out, they would stay on my porch and talk, then a few minutes later kissing on my porch?!?! Well, to make a long story short, they broke up and he asked me to bring them back together, well, knowing me I did try, they were to of my best friends. Sorta. But they hate each-other now. He's a loser, I don't really talk to my other friend (the girl one) because she moved. But I'm stuck with the boy next door. He is a retard, and doesn't know what he wants besides to kiss all the girls in the world. I will never date him, I will never kiss him. Blah, its just gross to me now. But every time he gets a new girl friend, it kinda makes me jealous, and I can't figure out why! Please help, is it because I think about a few months ago? Why do I constantly think about last summer?
I agree with 112507, you do seem really young. What you had over the summer was puppy love. You sorta liked a guy and your about to go out with him and then your friend goes out with him. You just got to either completely forget about him, or go out with him. U can't stay in the middle forever
Well to me you sound young, really young, and its sounds like drama from way back in the day, and all I can say is that it seems you still have something for him, and try not to think about him too much if you have no intentions of dating or getting with him. just keep him out of your head if you dislike him as much as you say you do. and youu find someone else that occupies your mind.

Describe your ideal first date; Where do you go? What do you wear? How does the date end?
I'd pick her up and we'd go to a Sushi restaurant around town that's far enough away that we can have a decent discussion about ourselves on the way there, but not too far that it feels like we're waiting to get there. We'd talk about what we do in our free time, and what makes us laugh. I'd drive her home while we switch of listening to our favorites kinds of music. Hug is fine, maybe a kiss.
Afterwards..what will your date know about you?
I'm a very fun and outgoing person, and do and wear whatever I feel like and not what everyone else is doing. My life revolves techno and trance music, so you at least have to show interest in it, though not necessarily like it. It can be a bit awkward at first if I've never actually talked to you before the date but once we break the ice I'm a really fun guy to talk to and hang around with.
